What No Limits Academy is about
Our Purpose:
It takes a village to raise a child…
We believe the future of our community is dependent on the investment and development of our youth. For the majority of our NLA participants, their home environments are often troubled, hurting healthy, cognitive development. In an effort to combat this problem and limit our youths' interaction with these negative forces, the NLA facility has emerged into an afterschool safe-space. Most NLA Kids report to the facility at 3pm and do not return to their homes until 9pm. They complete homework, play sports in our Performance Center, and engage socially with peers and mentors as they prepare for our 5:15pm roll-call followed by our team warm-up drill. Our 2 hour boxing program is scheduled Monday-Friday, 5:15pm-7:15pm. We challenge our children mentally, physically, and emotionally while providing a fun and interactive experience that empowers them.
Our team is fully committed to youth outreach in Cape May County. NLA's Board of Trustees have backgrounds in education, athletics, law-enforcement, business, finance, marketing and event planning, construction, psychology, and military. We are confident in our model and believe that our objective, the successful transformation of youth at NLA, will be to the betterment of our entire community.
